Hole 17

Many consider the 17th our toughest hole. This long par 4 begins with a forced carry over the arroyo, with a no-play zone running the entire length of the left side. The fairway bunkers provide both a solid aiming point and a welcome bailout, considering the alternative. The 17th green is Highland Meadows’ most interesting—and most diabolical—featuring severe runoffs on both sides and a false front that rejects anything less than a committed shot. A five is a very good score here.
